Mr. Peter S. Nalitolela – Board Member

Mr. Peter S. Nalitolela is a dynamic and accomplished executive with a strong background in financial markets, investment management and leadership within the banking and capital markets sector. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE), bringing with him over 17 years of progressive experience across leading institutions in banking, finance, and energy.

His previous roles include serving as Director of Treasury and Financial Markets at National Bank of Commerce, Country Treasurer at Absa Bank Tanzania and holding senior leadership positions at Songas, Airtel, Unit Trust of Tanzania and LAPF Pension Fund.

Mr. Nalitolela holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Trent University in Canada. He has also completed executive training through the CEO Apprenticeship Programme at Strathmore University and specialized training in Corporate Protocol and Government Relations from the Tanzania Mozambique Centre for Foreign Relations.

His extensive leadership, strategic insight and deep understanding of financial systems will be instrumental in strengthening the Board’s oversight and advancing its mission.
