Dr. Anthony F. Mveyange – Board Member

Dr. Anthony F. Mveyange is a seasoned economist and development expert with over 15 years of experience in research, policy, and program leadership across Africa and globally. He currently serves as Director of Programs, Synergy at the African Population and Health Research Center in Kenya.

Dr. Mveyange holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark and two Master’s degrees in Economics from Colorado State University and the University of Dar es Salaam. His academic background also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University and a Postgraduate Diploma from Rotterdam University in poverty analysis and development.

Dr. Mveyange has held senior leadership roles at organizations such as the World Bank, TradeMark Africa, and the Partnership for African Governance Research. He has also completed high-level executive trainings in leadership and corporate governance in the U.S., South Africa, and Kenya.

Known for his thought leadership and commitment to evidence-based development, Dr. Mveyange brings deep insight and international experience that will enrich the strategic direction of the Board.
